Jesse Pakalu serves as Power Consultant to Arafura Energies Limited, providing strategic and technical advisory services across power generation, transmission, distribution, and energy infrastructure projects.

With extensive experience in Papua New Guinea’s electricity sector, Jesse supports the development of the 5MW Hides Gas Power Plant, the Hides Gas-to-Energy Project, and the Hela Province Power Transition Initiative. His expertise contributes to project planning, technical evaluation, operational optimization, and long-term energy infrastructure development.

Peter Mokai is responsible for managing Arafura Energies Limited’s power generation and energy infrastructure portfolio.

His role includes project implementation, operational management, maintenance planning, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of power generation projects and energy transition initiatives. Peter plays a critical role in advancing the company’s objective of becoming a leading indigenous Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Papua New Guinea.

Gideon Karali is a seasoned energy executive with extensive experience in Papua New Guinea’s petroleum and energy sector. He previously held senior leadership positions with Puma Energy PNG and has a proven track record in fuel supply, retail operations, commercial management, business development, and strategic partnerships.

As Chief Executive Officer, Gideon is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of Arafura Energies Limited. He is leading the company’s transition into an integrated energy business focused on fuel supply, power generation, gas commercialization, and energy infrastructure development.
